Support our Local Bands.
While we're planning for the 2023 Third Coast Surf Fest please continue to support live music and see our great surf and rock bands as often as you can. We'll be posting links to their schedules so you can enjoy a summer filled with great music.
Thanks for supporting live music.
Gidgets just want to have fun, and they don't have to be California girls to get their surf on. This girl band represents amazing talent from Chicago's own north shore - cowabunga!
Led by composer/guitarist Steve Gerlach (Tommy Keene, John Cale, JC Brooks, Chris Connelly) and featuring members of The Tossers, Sons Of The Silent Age, and Expo ’76, OUTRONAUT is dynamic in the extreme - from sublime crime-jazz to the most angular surf-noir rock noise on the planet.
13 Tikis bring the excitement of sax driven garage rock and the fun of instro surf to our lineup. We're glad to have one of Chicago's premier surf and instrumental bands on our stage.
The Breakers use the classic surf instrumental sound as a base, mixed with other music genres to create their own unique, hard hitting sound. The Breakers are a Sharawaji Records recording artist.
The Moonrays are a band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, our Third Coast eastern state. These seasoned musicians play Instrumental Surf, Rock & Blues with incredible vintage tone.
This band is a classic in itself. They've been playing classic instrumental music with a Big Go Go Beat since 1994. Glad to have another Third Coast state represented by The EXOTICS.
